On April 12, an article "Gender Equality as a Prerequisite for Sustainable Development" was published on the Internet by an expert on Abkhaz affairs. The article presents the European experience of implementing gender mainstreaming, and provides actual examples of Visegrad Countries - Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary.

"Participation of women in government is objectively a prerequisite for improving the living standards of the country’s population and its sustainable development.  Integration of women into political life means bringing together the efforts of women and men for common state interests”, - states the article.

The project is implemented with the support of the Visegrad Fund and the Kingdom of the Netherlands
