“Learning from Visegrad 4 Experience to Advocate for Equal, Inclusive and Democratic Local Governance”
Women NGO, Cultural-Humanitarian Fund “Sukhumi” starts implementation of new project from April1, 2017. The project is aimed at advocacy of equal, inclusive and democratic power at local level based on the experience of European leader countries.
Duration of the project – 1.04.17 – 31.07.18.
Partners of the project are Czech, Georgian, Slovakian, Abkhazian, Polish and Hungarian experts.
During the project there will be studied the experience of Visegrad countries in direction of establishing gender approaches, participation of the population in the reforms of local government and advocacy of political reforms.
In frames of the project there will be held study visits, multi-component researches, public and expert consultations on the issues of gender policy and Euro integration. There will be developed a political strategy, focused on local government reform and gender mainstreaming, which will be presented to the public in the form of a publication; The information campaign will be conducted for introducing the project duration and the results obtained to the public; The evidence will be provided on the project website http://fsv4.ge/
At the end of the project, on the basis of program documents for facilitation of implementation of the recommendations, there will be held a conference with participation of project partners, the gender policy, implementing entities, civil society groups, international organizations.
