A TV program organized by the Fund “Sukhumi” was aired on TV Company Rioni on April 25. The TV program was attended by project participants – representatives of Baghdati and Kutaisi self-governments and the members of gender equality councils. The talk was mainly focused on the “Manual” for gender strategies at the local level developed by the Fund "Sukhumi". The position of representatives of the local self-government is as follows: “this document is very benefitial because it contains methodology and practical advice on how to start work, what questions should the local officials ask themselves, which issues should they give more attention and who to cooperate with.

The emphasis was placed on the Round Table held in Baghdati, the memorandum signed between the Fund "Sukhumi" and Baghdati Municipality on the future prospects for cooperation.

The TV Program was organized as part of the project “Learning from the experience of Visegrad 4 to advocate for equal, inclusive and democratic local governance”.

The project is implemented with the support of the Visegrad Fund and the Kingdom of the Netherlands
